Can I track empty wagons?
Yes, our platform allows you to track both loaded and empty wagons.
Everysens tracks the shipment that the shipper enters on the platform. The shipper indicates departure and arrival dates, as well as departure, arrival and intermediate locations. Everysens uses this information and GPS sensors on the wagons to track them. In addition, the shipper can enter the composition of the train, i.e. the number of wagons and the parameters of the goods transported (or whether it is empty, if applicable). Basically, the presence or absence of goods is not a decisive criterion for wagon tracking. Everysens places equal importance on tracking both loaded and empty wagons.
How do you track empty wagons?
Everysens tracks empty wagons in the same way as loaded ones: using information provided by rail operators, and GPS positions transmitted by sensors on the wagons.
Within the platform, you are able to monitor the entire transport process, and are alerted in the event of incidents. The tracking map available on the platform lets you know at a glance where your wagons are - loaded or empty.

Can I track the arrival of an empty wagon at the production site?
Of course. Tracking an empty wagon arriving at the production site is just as easy as tracking a loaded wagon.
Once the transport has been entered on the platform, Everysens tracks the empty wagon in real time, in the same way as for a loaded wagon. If the wagon is subsequently filled with goods once it reaches its destination, it can also be tracked for the rest of its journey, once this new transport has been entered into the platform.
