The afternoon was devoted to workshops around 3 key themes: Strategies for measuring CO2 emissions in rail freight, the challenges of digitalization for rail carriers, and essential performance indicators for shippers to optimize their rail performance. These sessions provided an opportunity to reflect together on how to meet the new challenges facing manufacturers when it comes to transporting their goods efficiently and responsibly.

The evening's program concluded with the RailTech Awards ceremony. The aim: to reward 3 major groups for their proactive approach to optimizing and digitizing their rail operations. The awards recognize the different stages of a successful digital project: from onboarding(START Award) to initial results(SCALE Award), to confirmation of return on investment (ROI) (GROW Award). Three companies stood out for their digital maturity.
